About the Role

MSS Security is seeking a professional and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Sydney Airport, Mascot. This is a full-time Rover position, working across designated areas of the airport precinct to support security operations and provide exceptional customer service.

This role is ideal for candidates who are well-presented, proactive, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where customer interaction is a key part of the position.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting regular patrols and security checks across assigned areas

  • Providing a visible security presence and responding to incidents as required

  • Assisting customers, visitors, and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner

  • Monitoring and reporting security and safety concerns

  • Maintaining site access control procedures

  • Completing incident reports and relevant documentation accurately

  • Supporting operational requirements as a Rover across multiple locations within the airport precinct

  • Ensuring compliance with all site procedures, policies, and safety requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Current NSW Security Licence

  • Current First aid and CPR certificate

  • Excellent presentation and professional manner

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • High attention to detail and situational awareness

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment checks, including Drug & Alcohol screening
