Health is usually read one moment at a time. A test comes back, a number gets

filed, then forgotten. We build a continuous model of a person's health,

measured against their own baseline rather than a population average. Every

link in it is graded against its evidence and traced to its source.

The role

That foundation is a knowledge framework: the physiology, what findings mean,

and what follows from them. You would contribute to it, validate what is

already there, and help structure and extend it.

Small team. You'd work closely with the people building the rest, learn the

business properly, and grow with it. More is coming beyond this work, and the

role can widen as it does.

What you'll do

* Contribute entries to the knowledge framework and validate existing ones

* Help structure the framework itself, including new attributes where the

current ones can't express what a case needs

* Check that outputs follow from the data and the reasoning behind them,

and find the places where they don't

* Work through the primary literature to settle open questions

* Document the reasoning behind each decision, so it can be reviewed later

Who you are

* High agency. In a team this size you find the work that needs doing and

do it, rather than waiting for it to be assigned

* You can read a primary paper and say what it does and doesn't support

* You know where your competence ends, and you check rather than guess

* You have a working knowledge of biochemistry and physiology. Enough to

follow a mechanism, and to notice one running backwards

* You can work with AI tools and treat what they produce as something to

check, not accept

* Your written English is precise

* You're comfortable with structured data and version-controlled workflows

Qualifications

A degree in a relevant field: biomedical science, laboratory medicine,

pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences, physiology, biochemistry, nutrition

science, or medicine. MSc strongly preferred. Laboratory, clinical or

research experience counts for as much as the degree.

How we hire

A short review task instead of a written test, then a conversation.

Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sydney NSW 2000
