We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Assistant with reception experience to join our modern dental practice in South Melbourne. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a busy environment, and want to be part of a positive team, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a varied role combining both chairside assisting and reception duties, including:

• Chairside dental assisting across a range of procedures
• Instrument sterilisation and infection control
• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical standards
• Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
• Managing appointments, phone enquiries and patient records
• Processing HICAPS claims and payments
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, professional and reliable
• Passionate about patient care and teamwork
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced in dental assisting
• Confident with reception and administrative duties
• Familiar with D4W software and HICAPS (preferred but not essential)
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is desirable but not essential
