Full job description

The Part-Time Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business during scheduled shifts. This role ensures excellent customer service, supervises staff, maintains operational standards, and supports business goals while working on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support employees during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
  • Open and close the business when required.
  • Manage daily operations, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members.
  • Prepare staff rosters and assist with scheduling as required.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory replenishment.
  • Handle cash, process payments, and prepare end-of-day cash reconciliation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace.
  • Assist with achieving sales targets and improving business performance.
  • Report operational issues and provide updates to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic computer and administrative skills.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays if required.

Working Hours:

  • Part-time position (typically 15–30 hours per week, depending on business needs).
