Full job description
- EDMA Agencies Pty Ltd T/as Wexford Welding
- Full-Time minimum 38 hours per week
- Welders and Metal Fabricators
- Salary: $76,515 - $100,000
- Experience required: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or 3 years work experience may substitute for the formal qualification
Job Tasks and Duties:
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
- Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
- Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
- Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
- Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $76,515.00 – $100,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rydalmere NSW 2116: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- Certificate I - IV (Preferred)
Experience:
- Welding: 3 years (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- White Card (Preferred)
