This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.

Die Position

Are you a scientific expert with a passion for driving meaningful patient outcomes? Do you thrive in collaborative, field-based environments where your work directly shapes the future of healthcare?

  • Secure a permanent career path with the global leader in medical innovation.
  • Champion meaningful change to enhance outcomes for our partners and patients.
  • Thrive within a high-performing, agile network that empowers visionary leadership.
We are looking for a Medical Science Partner (MSP) to join our Medical Affairs team in the Healthcare Ecosystems chapter. In this role, you will act as a vital scientific bridge between Roche and the healthcare community, serving as a trusted partner to therapeutic area experts (TAEs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs).

At Roche, our North Star is to improve patient care and bring better outcomes to more patients, faster. As an MSP, your work is always non-promotional and focused on the Quality Use of Medicines (QUM). You will leverage your scientific credibility and deep product knowledge to ensure transparent, balanced communication, establishing Roche as a leader in our therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Scientific Exchange: Proactively shape medical practice by communicating complex clinical data, closing clinical gaps, and fostering lasting advocacy for Roche’s innovative medicines.
  • Insights Generation: Act as an "outside-in" engine for our Squad, translating real-world scientific insights into actionable strategies to address clinical barriers.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Work side-by-side with investigators to support our clinical development programs, including Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) and Real-World Evidence (RWD) generation.
  • Internal Leadership: Collaborate cross-functionally to provide scientific training and education, ensuring internal teams remain up to date with the latest clinical developments.
Who you are;

We seek a curious, agile, and entrepreneurial mindset. You should be someone who:

  • Demonstrates Strategic Acumen: Thinks strategically about your territory and isn’t afraid to prioritize value-adding activities.
  • Is Digital-Savvy: Proactively integrates digital tools and possesses basic AI literacy to enhance your day-to-day work.
  • Collaborates Effectively: Has strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, thriving in complex, cross-functional teams.
  • Communicates Assertively: Can engage in respectful, peer-to-peer conversations with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications& Experience;

  • Education: Healthcare professional qualification and/or a university degree (life sciences). An advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Strong expertise in medical affairs, customer experience excellence, and stakeholder engagement (TAEs, Medical Societies, etc.).
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of patient journeys, treatment algorithms, and compliance standards (MA Code of Conduct).
  • Flexibility: You are comfortable working remotely and traveling frequently (up to 60%) to engage with HCPs, attend conferences, and support our scientific ecosystem across multiple states. You have a current driver's license and please note that the territories are subject to change based on business requirements.
ThisMelbourne-field based role covers interstate territories (VIC / TAS / WA). Valid driving licence and full eligibility to live and work in Australia is necessary as visa/relocation support is not available for this position.

This role is only open to candidates that have full eligibility to live and work in Australia.

We do not accept any unsolicited resumes or enquiries from recruitment agencies. Roche has a dedicated in-house Talent Acquisition team.
