About the Permanent and Temporary Transfer Register (s26)
This register is open for candidates to register a general expression of interest for employment opportunities with the ACIC. We are seeking existing ongoing APS employees who are interested in a temporary or permanent transfer to the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission. This register enables ACIC to access appropriately skilled and experienced individuals at short notice. Positions may be non-ongoing or ongoing depending on business requirements.
In the application form, you will be required to express an interest in roles from APS Level 1 to Executive Level 2. You will also need to advise the skillsets most closely aligned with your experience and the preferred movement type.
We are looking for people with a range of skills, experience and backgrounds for roles across the ACIC. The following areas of employment are highly regarded:

Eligibility
- Citizenship – To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
- Current Employment – Applicants must be an ongoing APS employee and where an offer for Temporary Section 26 is made, your home agency will be required to agree to release you.
- Security Clearance - The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
- Pre-Employment Screening – All candidates must satisfy an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to being offered employment at the ACIC.
