Full job description

We are seeking a friendly and organised team member to join our team and assist with daily mail, parcel and counter operations.

Availability Required

  • Monday to Friday
  • Initially between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm
  • Flexibility to work additional hours or adjusted shift times when required

Key Responsibilities

  • Sorting, organising and labelling incoming mail and parcels
  • Assisting customers and supporting front counter operations, with training provided
  • Assisting with stocktaking, record keeping and general administrative tasks
  • Maintaining an organised, clean and safe working environment
  • Working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Reliable, punctual and well organised
  • Valid driver licence, efficient computer skills
  • Friendly, approachable and committed to providing excellent customer service
  • Willing to learn and able to follow instructions accurately
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
  • Physically capable of safely lifting and moving mail and parcels weighing between 100 g and 22 kg
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing operational needs

Previous experience in mail handling, retail, customer service or administration would be an advantage but is not essential.

Employment Duration: Initially a 3-month casual position, with an extension likely for the right candidate.

Pay: $28.09 – $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
