About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering/Food Services Attendant to join our food services team at a Private Hospital in Penrith Area. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, committed to delivering exceptional, patient-focused food services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with Meal Delivery: Help in the delivery of meals to patients' rooms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital protocols, ensuring portion control and presentation standards are met.
• Hygiene and Cleanliness: Maintain high standards of cleanliness in food preparation and service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Customer Service: Interact with patients, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns about the food service.
• Supporting Kitchen Staff: Provide general support to chefs and kitchen staff, including taking on additional tasks as needed during busy periods.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in food service, particularly within healthcare or aged care settings, will be highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene practices and cleanliness standards.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a keen attention to detail.
• High level of reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Excellent personal presentation and hygiene standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility in shift availability, including weekends and public holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $24.95 per hour
