    About the role
    The Patient Services Officer is responsible for providing courteous, effective and efficient patient support services. This includes running and correcting SDPR reports, patient transport bookings, handling telephone inquiries, providing general clerical support for the clinical team as requested.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Maintain patient medical records to ensure correct data entry
    • Provide accurate, timely clerical support for Clinical Nursing Unit Manager and clinical team
    • Receive incoming telephone calls. Redirect calls, take and record messages for staff, follow through as necessary
    What you bring
    • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
    • Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with an excellent telephone manner
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team in periods of high demand and activity
    • Experience with SDPR and/or Patient Administration Systems
    • Commitment to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
    • Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development including update of software application knowledge
    • Commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of Calvary and the ability and desire to uphold these at all times
