Full job description

Better begins here

Crown Resorts is a great place to visit and it’s an even better place to work, a place where you can play your part in creating fun, memorable, world-class experiences for our guests and our people. We value passion, optimism, and an appetite for change - for the better. Here, you’ll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.

The opportunity

At Crown Resorts Perth we are growing our internal Medical Response Team and are seeking applications from experienced Medics for positions across our operations in Burswood.

Reporting to the Medical Services Manager, as a single responder your role as a Crown Medic is to provide prompt, professional, and effective first aid and emergency care in response to incidents across Crown Perth operations and the immediate surrounding area. As part of the wider first response team, the Medic delivers both primary and pre‑hospital emergency care, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of patrons, employees, contractors and members of the public in a complex, 24‑hour operational environment.

Employment types available

We are offering the role across the following arrangements:

  • Full Time

  • Casual

Please note: While the role requirements are the same, roster patterns will vary. You will be asked to nominate your employment type and availability as part of the application process.

As Crown operates 24/7, flexibility to work a range of shifts (including nights, weekends and public holidays) is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide timely, professional first aid and emergency medical care to patrons, employees and contractors

  • Respond promptly to medical incidents, including those dispatched by the jurisdictional ambulance service

  • Take clinical leadership at medical incidents, coordinating patient care, scene management and escalation

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and determine appropriate treatment or referral pathways

  • Liaise effectively with external Emergency Services, ensuring safe and efficient patient handover

  • Comply with Crown Perth policies, clinical governance standards and health & safety requirements

About you

You’ll bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ recent, relevant operational experience

  • HLT51020 Diploma of Emergency Health Care or Diploma of Paramedical Science

  • Confidence operating autonomously as a single responder

  • Strong clinical judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive, safety‑focused mindset aligned with Crown values

  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster

This role would ideally suit operators who are trained, motivated, calm under pressure and able to operate under limited supervision. Paramedics are welcome to apply but must be aware that the scope of practice for this role is not scoped at Paramedic.

If you feel you have the skills, experience and qualifications and are looking for an entirely different clinical role with regular and varied patient contact and have a ‘can-do’ attitude – apply now!

On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning. To see our range of benefits and opportunities visit Crown Resorts Careers.

Our Crown Community celebrates uniqueness and embraces diversity. We welcome the creativity, insights and experiences from people of different race, age, religion, cultural background, gender, people with disability, people who identify as LGBTIQ+ and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander; people like you.
