Applications for Registrar Medical Educator roles are now open, and we are currently seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI).
Interviews are expected to commence in late September 2026, with offers anticipated to be finalised by October 2026. Successful candidates are expected to commence in January 2027.
- Salary: $119,646.80 pro rata, + super + ability to salary package up to 15,900 tax free for living expenses

As a Registrar Medical Educator, you’ll bring a genuine passion for medical education, along with completion of GPT2 training with the AGPT program by February 2027.
As a Registrar Medical Educator, you’ll:
- Design, deliver, and evaluate education and training activities under the guidance of Medical Educators.
- Support curriculum planning and contribute to program development and quality improvement.
- Provide guidance and act as a contact point for registrars on training program requirements.
- Participate in educational meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Passion for medical education and GP training
- Completion of GPT2 by February 2027
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to design and deliver learning activities
- Experience and currently employed in a general practice
