Quality Assurance Coordinator – Fabrication Workshop

We are seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Boilermaker to join our Toowoomba Engineering Workshop team in this role. You’ll have the opportunity to assist the Workshop Supervisor in the coordination and operation of the ENFAB workshop.

About the Role

  • Up to $47.48 p/hr (dependent on experience) + Super + Allowances + Penalties + OT
  • Full-Time Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday
  • Provide daily guidance and leadership to our trades team including scheduling, managing work orders and production planning
  • Monitor fabrication processes, identifying and rectifying delays before they impact final product and delivery
  • Interpret drawings and specs both paper based and computer based
  • Verify fabrication dimensions, weld quality, fit up and workmanship


About you

  • Trade Qualification in Boilermaker or similar, with 5 years post-trade experience in fabrication
  • Internal Auditor Qualification (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting drawings and specifications, including a sound understanding of welding standards/fabrication tolerances
  • Experience in a supervisory role with excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
  • Must be able to pass all satisfactory pre-employment checks – including Pre-Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol testing + Police Check + work related reference
