About us
ESS forms part of Civil and Enforcement Services (CES) which sits within the Justice Services and Regulation division. In addition to its core responsibilities, ESS manages a range of social justice initiatives such as the Work and Development Permit Scheme, the Family Violence Scheme, the Time Served Scheme, the Prison Program Scheme and Special Circumstances, all aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals who are impacted by infringement or court fines.
What you will do
As project support officer, you will support audits, compliance work and projects.
You will keep business records accurate and help teams deliver their work.
You will:
- lead careful audit and compliance work under direction and prepare clear draft reports.
- provide reliable meeting support by taking minutes and tracking actions and decisions.
- manage timely invoices, purchase orders, contracts and procurement with suppliers.
- maintain accurate records, databases and reports in line with department rules.
- support practical projects that improve work, systems and services.
About you
No formal qualifications are required for this role.
Experience applying legislation, policies or procedures would be highly desirable. Project administration experience is highly regarded.
You should also have:
- strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using different computer systems.
- good problem-solving skills and the ability to work through issues.
- clear communication skills that help you explain information to different audiences.
- flexible ways of working that help you adapt and support others.
