Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse – General Practice

City Clinic, Grote Street Adelaide

Employment Type: Casual

  • City Clinic Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30am to 5:30pm

We are a family-friendly, fully accredited General Practice seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive team of GPs and healthcare professionals.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient-centered care, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adult and childhood immunizations, including uploading vaccines to AIR.
  • Wound care, iron infusion therapy, spirometry, ear syringing and other clinical procedures
  • Chronic disease management and health assessments
  • Health promotion and preventative screening
  • Ensuring Medicare compliance and high-quality patient outcomes
  • sterilizing of instruments

Qualifications & Experience

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
  • Experience in General Practice highly regarded (new graduates welcome to apply)
  • Wound care experience desirable
  • Immunization certificate preferred
  • Knowledge of preventative health care, chronic disease management, and infection control
  • Understanding of cold chain management and Medicare requirements
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Essential Criteria

  • Full AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance
  • Right to work in Australia

The Ideal Candidate

You are reliable, friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible with a positive attitude. You’ll bring a caring approach to patient care, strong work ethic, and excellent time management and organizational skills.

This position is available for Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the possibility of covering Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays when our other nurse is away.
