Play a key role in managing and improving EnergyCo’s property asset portfolio
- Ongoing fulltime role at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime
- Sydney CBD /Newcastle location & Hybrid working from home and office supported
- Salary range from $149,739 to $173,174 plus super and leave loading
EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.

About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and improving EnergyCo’s property asset portfolio across a diverse range of assets and projects. You will lead the planning and delivery of capital works, minor works and maintenance programs, while undertaking property management activities across the portfolio. Working across asset management, governance, compliance, reporting and financial planning, you will help ensure assets remain fit for purpose, sustainable, highly utilised and aligned to organisational needs. Based in Sydney/Newcastle with flexible hybrid working arrangements, this role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to influence how property assets are managed across the organisation.
About You
You are a collaborative and adaptable property or asset management professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with hands-on project and contract management. You bring experience across asset lifecycle management, contractor and stakeholder engagement and are confident working across multiple priorities including asset registers, compliance, governance and financial reporting. Relationship-focused and commercially aware, you thrive in environments where partnership, communication and problem-solving are key to success. Most importantly, you are motivated by delivering positive outcomes, building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to a high-performing and supportive team.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, construction, building or engineering or equivalent demonstrated professional experience.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
