1 x ongoing, full time role and 1 x fixed term, full time role until 31 March 2029
Salary: VPS 3.1 - $81,496 to $90,227 + 12% superannuation
Location: 664 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 (minimum three days in the office)

About the role:
As a member of an engaging and flexible team, you will use your excellent communication and organisational skills to deliver high-volume administrative processing of reports, issuing infringements, notices and advisory letters, and post-issue infringement management, aligned to EPA’s strategic priorities to prevent harms to Victorian communities and the environment from pollution and waste.
In this role you will:
- Working under the direction of the Team Leader, Infringements, contribute to the delivery of the statewide litter and motor vehicle programs through assessing litter reports (approximately 20,000 per year),
- Contribute to, and apply, robust administrative and record keeping systems and processes in the management of the litter and motor vehicle programs.
- Working under the direction of the Team Leader, Infringements, support the annual site visits/audits of approved motor vehicle testers statewide to ensure compliance with the conditions of their appointment.
- Contribute to enforcement action by escalating unpaid infringements to Fines Victoria and providing support for summary prosecutions such as the preparation and collation of evidentiary matters for prosecution briefs.
Skills and experience:
- A relevant tertiary degree or qualifications is desirable.
- Experience in data processing or a high-volume environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver in relation to statutory timeframes and the ability to be systematic and efficient with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to make sound decisions and apply relevant government legislation, regulations, reporting directives and procedures, to achieve optimal organisational outcomes within limited timeframes.
