- 2 X Part-time (0.3 FTE) and fixed term positions for twelve months
- Research Assistant $79,336 - $86,599 + 17% Superannuation (prorata, parttime)
Join our School of Psychology as a Research Assistant undertaking foundational research activities, contributing to research in workplace relational aggression.
Success in these roles requires strong quantitative skills and knowledge, exceptional interpersonal capabilities, and a knowledge and passion for research.

As a Research Assistant, you will:
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the research work and engage collaboratively to provide high-level research administration support
- Support the preparation and publishing of research materials
- Work with research academic staff in the delivery of the research project, including the implementation of research quality control systems/procedures.
- Support the completion of funded research projects including collection and analysis of data, interviewing, transcription, literature review and facilitating related activities whilst demonstrating a desire to perform accurate and ethical research for the study.
- Provide a range of administrative support activities, including meeting coordination, drafting presentations, papers and reports and maintaining databases and administrative systems.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A degree in a relevant area, from a recognised university with experience as a research administrator OR an appropriate combination of experience and training
- Demonstrated experience conducting research tasks - editing, literature reviews and transcription and preparing research reports within a university or tertiary environment, including working knowledge of funding schemes such as ARC grants.
- Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of dealing with research related activities.
- Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills with proven ability to effectively analyse information and produce clear, succinct reports and documents which requires interaction with others.
- Knowledge of the ARC process, preparation of budgets, organising readers and providing administrative feedback on applications.
