Your opportunity

Are you excited about shaping and executing key infrastructure projects? Queensland Rail is looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our inclusive Signalling Project Delivery team on a fixcd-term basis until 30th of April 2027.


As a Project Engineer, you'll perform planning, pricing, programming and on-site management of railway signalling construction activities for Network resources in conjunction with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders
You’ll also:

  • Develop and implement detailed construction methodologies in consultation with construction units to ensure planned resources and costs are met during the construction phase of the works
  • Perform ongoing risk analysis of all aspects of projects that are relevant at the implementation stage to ensure the risks to price, commercial conditions, safety, environment and quality are in place through the on-site construction activities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of construction safety management systems and undertake the role of Principal Contractor's representative when required.
