The Role
FTEC Electrical has a vacancy for an office support person to help run their busy office. We can offer a Business Administration Traineeship to someone who wants an entry level position, or continuity and stability to a candidate who is looking for a role with longevity.
This role will perform a variety of reception and general office duties that will support employees, managers, customers and suppliers.
Desired attributes
Motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
Fits in with the team and shows initiative
Good work ethic, reliable and punctual
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office exposure
Experienced in reception, administration, and/or customer service (desirable)
Requirements
A current Queensland Drivers’ License
Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) or equivalent
Daily responsibilities will include
Reception first point of contact
Administration (email correspondence, scheduling jobs, raising purchase orders, booking travel, processing dockets, etc.) and general in-house administration duties as required
Assisting with book-keeping and business system improvements
Running errands outside of the office
Compliance to Company policies and procedures
This role is will suit either a candidate who is seeking an entry level position and wishes to learn a comprehensive range of administrative skills, (who may be studying already or see this as a two year developmental role), OR, you will be a candidate that comes ready to go and is seeking an opportunity to work with a friendly team, in a supportive environment where you can perform your duties and be appreciated.
