A great opportunity for a Trades Assistant to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Bandiana. The Trades Assistant is responsible for the assistance of maintenance activities of US vehicles and equipment. Inspect and road testing of medium / large trucks, plant equipment.

About the role

• Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop
• Assisting in maintenance and storeroom tasks
• Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner
• Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so

About you

• Hold a current MC,HC,MR licence, any plant operator licence
• Have a great attitude, a good work ethic and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Additional experience would also be highly desirable;
• • Tyre fitting experience
  • High Risk Work license with competencies in Forklift
  • Computer Literacy using Microsoft office products (especially Excel)
• You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
