The Opportunity
The Faculty of Information Technology has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Research Development Coordinator to join our Research, Development and Engagement team in the Faculty Office.
In this pivotal role you will deliver high quality research support, lead budget development support and provide complex administrative services. Your primary focus will be centred on NHMRC, MRFF and international funding opportunities to facilitate the growth of the Faculties research performance.
You will act as a key liaison point, working closely with senior academics including the Heads of Department, Directors of Research and Lab Directors as well as internal and external client groups to align research activities with the Faculty and University research strategy.
To be successful in this role you will bring demonstrated experience in research development including providing specialist and technical advice for medical and international grants, project coordination and strategic grant reviews. You will have a deep understanding of NHMRC, MRFF grants as well as international grants, exceptional editing skills to improve grant quality and the ability to build strong collaborative networks.
