We are looking for a commercially minded Revenue Analyst to join our Finance team in Welshpool, playing a key role in driving revenue performance and minimising leakage across the business.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will analyse, interpret, and optimise revenue performance across multiple business units. Working closely with operations and finance stakeholders, you’ll identify opportunities, improve processes, and ensure revenue is captured accurately and efficiently.

You’ll be at the centre of data-driven decision-making - translating insights into actionable improvements that directly influence business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse revenue data to identify trends, variances, and optimisation opportunities
• Review and interpret client rate cards and system configurations to ensure revenue accuracy
• Partner with operations and finance teams to resolve billing and system issues impacting revenue
• Identify and minimise revenue leakage across all areas of the business
• Support reporting and provide insights to drive commercial decisions
• Develop process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure subcontractor costs are accurately reflected and revenue is maximised
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar analytical or finance role
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query / Power BI experience highly regarded)
• Exposure to SQL or data extraction tools
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
• Experience in transport or logistics (desirable, not essential)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Data, or a related field
