Join our growing Transport division at Service Stream as a Road Maintenance Worker!

Service Stream are continuing to deliver the routine maintenance, and defect rectification works for the Borough of Queenscliff.

We have opportunities for Road Maintenance Worker to join our team in permanent roles based out of our Moolap depot working under the direction of our Supervisors, in crews of 2-4 people, you will be critical in delivering services under this contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out scheduled routine servicing and hazard and defect rectification works for pavements, footpaths, parks and playgrounds
• Completing all works with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency
• Mowing of parks and gardens
• Recording works-related data in the field, in line with work instructions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Participating in daily pre-start and shift-close meetings, contributing ideas for changes and improvements in work practices to enhance safety and efficiency.

About You:

Our ideal candidates will have:

• Experience working as part of a crew maintaining pavements, footpaths, parks and playgrounds.
• Sweeper operator/experience preferred
• Concrete footpath removal and replacement experience preferred
• Ability to be a committed team player who drives for service excellence and continuous improvement.
• A track record of working with a relentless focus on worker, road user and community safety.
• Mower operations experience preferred
• High levels of self-motivation, exceptional time-management skills and a proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Sound digital and data management skills, including familiarity with field applications for works management.
• Formal qualifications (Cert III or higher) in civil construction are a bonus, but not essential if you can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and capability.
