About the role

Join BreastScreen SA as a Visiting Medical Specialist Breast Imaging Trainee and gain comprehensive exposure to breast imaging within a specialist screening service. You will contribute to high quality clinical services while developing advanced skills in assessment imaging and interventional procedures.

Working under the supervision of experienced Radiologists and the Clinical Director, you will undertake assessment breast imaging and screen reading, participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to research in population based screening. This role offers a structured training pathway while supporting safe, patient centred care for BSSA clients.

About You

You’re a motivated Breast Imaging Trainee who brings strong clinical capability and a commitment to high quality, patient centred care. You work collaboratively and approach screening and diagnostic services with empathy, precision and professionalism.

  • MBBS with specialist registration or eligibility
  • Clinical experience in breast imaging or screening services
  • Communicate well with patients, families and teams
  • Contribute to research, audit and multidisciplinary care
