Secure Skills Group – Hospital Security Officers

Secure Skills Group is a trusted and growing security provider committed to professionalism, reliability, and high quality service delivery. We partner with major organisations and healthcare facilities across NSW to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff, patients, and visitors.

About the Role: We are currently seeking experienced and professional security officers to join our team at hospital sites around Sydney. This role is ideal for guards who are calm under pressure, have excellent communication skills, and take pride in protecting others. Officers will be allocated to a suitable district that meets their area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular patrols and ensuring site safety
  • Responding to incidents and providing assistance to hospital staff and patients
  • Writing detailed incident and shift reports
  • Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a professional presence
  • De-escalating conflicts and managing challenging behaviour appropriately

Requirements:

✅ Have hospital or healthcare security experience (highly regarded)

✅ NSW Security Licence (Class 1A minimum)

✅ Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent)

✅ VPM (Violence Prevention & Management) Training or willing to obtain (highly regarded)

✅ Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

✅ Professional presentation and punctuality

✅ Availability for a variety of shifts (day, night, weekend)
