As a Senior HR Business Partner in Telstra's Digital Infrastructure business, you'll thrive in complexity and be energised by the opportunity to solve challenging people and organisational issues. Working closely with senior leaders, you will influence and deliver people strategies that build leadership capability, strengthen talent pipelines, and enable sustainable business performance. What You’ll Do

As a senior member of the Telstra Digital Infrastructure (TDI) People Partnering team, you will partner closely with leaders across our domestic and international asset businesses to help shape the future of our workforce. This is a strategic HR partnering role with a significant transformation agenda, offering the opportunity to influence organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce planning, and business performance across both Australian and global teams.

You'll work at the intersection of people and business strategy, supporting leaders to navigate complexity, accelerate change, and build high-performing teams. While you'll provide expertise across the full employee lifecycle, a key focus will be driving large-scale transformation initiatives, strengthening leadership effectiveness, and building the capabilities needed for the future.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with senior leaders to identify people-related opportunities and challenges, diagnose root causes, and develop practical solutions that enable business outcomes.
  • Leverage organisational insights, workforce data, and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making, improve operating models, and shape future workforce strategies.
  • Lead and support organisational design, transformation, and change initiatives, ensuring a positive employee experience from design through to implementation and embedding.
  • Work closely with leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable change outcomes and strengthen leadership accountability.
  • Apply deep HR expertise across employee relations, talent, workforce planning, remuneration, culture, recruitment, and transformation to support TDI's strategic priorities.
  • Partner effectively in environments that include unionised workforces, balancing business objectives with strong employee and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate across the broader People & Culture team to drive simpler, more effective solutions and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

About You

You will bring the following skills and experiences to be successful in the role:

  • Demonstratable track record as HR partner to senior leaders in a sizable, operational organsiation.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong HR business partnering experience (5+ years in Business Partnering or similar field), including strong business transformation capability.
  • Experience across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and change implementation.
  • Ability to embed practical people strategies, operating model changes and sustainable ways of working.
  • Experience leading or supporting complex employee and industrial relations matters.
  • A proactive commitment to shaping culture, championing diversity, equity and inclusion, and improving the employee experience.
