About the role
Are you looking to become a nationally recognised Electrician… Your future career could start right here with the Water Corporation. Based in Bunbury, this apprenticeship offers a highly diverse, hands‑on experience across multiple projects and sites. You’ll work across new and existing infrastructure, getting exposure to construction, installation and refurbishment of key operational assets. This variety makes it an interesting role perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, practical work and learning through real-world projects.
Over the course of four years, you’ll gain the skills and experience needed to become a fully qualified tradesperson, setting you up for a rewarding and stable career.

Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- A WA ‘C Class’ Driver’s Licence, or be actively working towards obtaining one.
- Completion of Year 12 (or Year 10 with certificate) and a desire to pursue a trade.
- A pre-apprenticeship is a bonus but not essential.
- An aptitude for mathematics, particularly as it relates to electrical concepts and problem‑solving.
- A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
- A solid awareness of safety and a commitment to working safely.
- Motivation, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in hands-on work.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks including manual labour, precision work in workshops or field environments, and some handling of dangerous goods (we’ll provide all the training you need to stay safe).
- The ability to learn and eventually perform the full scope of work expected of a qualified tradesperson, with appropriate training and supervision.
