Based in our corporate head office, you will be part of a leading research team that plays a key role in the success of the PRD business. With great attention to detail and communication skills you will prepare and present high-quality property market research in a timely and effective manner for internal and external clients.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of market commentary, reports and general research for internal and external clients.
  • Data mining residential real estate statistics (sales, rentals, and others) and presenting them in an attractive manner.
  • Maintaining knowledge of market trends daily via newspapers and other media, industry publications, market participants, both internal and external.
  • Attending industry networking events, seminars, and/or conferences to interact with clients, and to gain market and business knowledge.
  • Maintain and update database systems and research spread sheets.
  • Embrace the introduction of new technology or mapping software to further enhance the information provided in research reports.
  • Perform other administrative duties and general assistance as required.

Qualifications


To be successful in this challenging role you will need to be:

  • Currently undertaking an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Property or Business/Economics or related discipline
  • Passionate about the residential real estate market
  • A team player with a high level of time management skills.
  • Able to work with little or minimal supervision
  • Proactive and self motivated – ability to add value to the team
  • Have a good understanding of MS Office (particularly Microsoft Excel).
  • Have a good understanding of database systems and the ability to extract selected residential real-estate data for reporting purposes.
  • Have an excellent attention to detail
  • Have some understanding of mapping software and technology
  • Willing to take a proactive approach to general office duties
  • Willing to work beyond core tasks as necessary to assist with any overflow from colleagues as appropriate
