Are you a seasoned Renewable Energy Engineer ready to lead, innovate, and shape the future of energy infrastructure? Middleton Group is growing—and were looking for a Renewable Energy Engineer to help us drive technical excellence, empower our people, and deliver impactful solutions for our clients and communities.

As our Renewable Energy Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding project delivery, uplifting capability across the team, and championing best‑practice engineering. You'll lead complex renewable energy and storage projects, influence strategy, and leave a mark on the next generation of engineers.

What You'll Lead & Deliver

Engineering Leadership

• Lead multi‑disciplinary design projects to deliver creative, industry-leading solutions with quality, safety, and innovation at the forefront.
• Deliver high quality energy advisory services including technical due diligence, business case development, feasibility studies and project optimisation.
• Support renewable energy and storage project delivery in the role of Owner's Engineer and technical advisor.
• Ensure technical excellence through rigorous review, standards development, and engineering best practice.

Sustainability & Innovation

• Drive carbon‑conscious and community‑minded engineering design approaches.
• Contribute to advancing our technical methodologies within Middleton Group and the wider industry.

People & Capability

• Mentor, develop, and inspire junior engineers.
• Support training, capability uplift, and initiatives that keep our team ahead of the curve.
• Help shape a culture built on care, respect, and continuous improvement.

Business Growth

• Lead proposal development and help secure exciting new opportunities.
• Build strong client relationships and influence winning project strategies.

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in design and delivery for Wind/Solar/BESS projects
• Consulting experience preferred, ideally with experience delivering Owner's Engineer services.
• A values-driven, people-focused mindset—with a passion for collaboration and innovation.
