As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide one‑on‑one support to clients with acquired spinal cord injuries within their homes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs (including hoist use)
- Supporting daily hygiene: grooming, bathing, dressing and oral care
- Delivering personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management
- Providing basic wound care and assisting with self‑medication
- Offering domestic support such as meal preparation, household tasks and laundry
- Facilitating community access, including driving to appointments and social activities
We are looking for people who:
- Are excellent listeners and communicate authentically
- Can work a fixed fortnightly roster (morning, afternoons, evenings and overnights available)
- Hold a current driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle
- Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
- Are experienced in the field, and/or hold relevant qualifications.
