We are searching for a Support Worker in Taringa for Community Participation

Contractor Position | approximately 6 - 12hrs per week

We are seeking an experienced, reliable Support Worker to assist a part-time Highschool participant with Community Participation encouragement.

Role Details:

  • There are currently 1-2 shifts, 8.15am to 2.15pm (Monday and/or Wednesday)
  • Shifts are pending final family approval opportunity for additional roles and ongoing work with other participants when available

Participant Interests:
We are looking for someone who can connect well with a young person and help explore activities to encourage and support him in the community.

You’ll be encouraged to help plan and facilitate suitable, engaging community-based activities and encourage participation in household duties.

Requirements:

  • Working With Children Check (Blue Card) – mandatory
  • NDIS Worker Screening Card – essential
  • Police Check
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Valid Driver’s Licence & Car Insurance
  • ABN & Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
