Ausroads Traffic Management PTY LTD' is seeking experienced Traffic Controllers and Team Leaders to join our team in Melbourne. As a casual member of our Trades & Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of traffic management on various worksites across the city.

Key responsibilities

  • Controlling and directing traffic flow at construction sites, events, and other locations as required
  • Implementing and maintaining traffic management plans to keep workers and the public safe
  • Operating traffic control devices such as stop/slow bats, cones, and signage
  • Liaising with clients, authorities, and team members to coordinate traffic management activities
  • Monitoring and adjusting traffic control measures as needed to respond to changing conditions
  • Providing on-site supervision and support to traffic control team members

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Traffic Controller or Team Leader in the Trades & Services industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of relevant traffic management regulations and safety procedures
  • Current traffic control qualifications and licences (e.g. Traffic Controller, Stop/Slow Bat)
  • Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
