Full job description

We are seeking expressions of interest from high-performing law students graduating in 2028 or beyond to join our Casual Paralegal Talent Pool in Melbourne.

As part of our Paralegal Talent Pool, you may be contacted for short-term assignments across our legal teams. Assignments can vary in duration, ranging from one-week projects through to several months, depending on operational requirements.

These opportunities provide valuable hands-on experience and exposure to a professional legal environment while offering flexibility around your university commitments.

The day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis
  • Reviewing and organising legal documents
  • Drafting correspondence and basic legal documents
  • File and matter management
  • Assisting solicitors and legal professionals with case preparation
  • Providing administrative and project support

About You

To be eligible for our Paralegal Pool, you will:

  • Be currently studying a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor
  • Have an expected graduation date of 2028 or later
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Be able to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • Have a genuine interest in developing your legal career
  • Be confident using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Have a proactive, can-do attitude
