The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused HC Truck Driver to join our transport operations team. In this role, you will operate Heavy Combination vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles safely and efficiently.

Transport freight between depots, warehouses, customer sites, and distribution centres.

Conduct pre-start, safety, and roadworthiness inspections.

Secure loads in accordance with transport regulations and company procedures.

Complete delivery documentation, logbooks, and electronic records accurately.

Comply with Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.

Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance or safety concerns.

Load and unload freight when required.

Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.

Deliver professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Skills & Experience

Strong heavy vehicle driving and road safety skills.

Knowledge of load restraint and freight handling practices.

Understanding of Australian transport regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent time management and reliability.

Basic vehicle maintenance awareness.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Licences & Qualifications

Current Australian HC (Heavy Combination) Driver Licence.
