Do you want to launch your career in medical imaging while making a real difference to patient care? At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are looking for enthusiastic new graduate Radiographers to join our Medical Imaging team as a Radiographer Level 2.
About the Opportunity
As a New Graduate Radiographer Level 2, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a broad range of clinical settings. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide patient-centred care while developing your clinical skills across a variety of imaging modalities.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to build your experience in a modern, technology-driven environment while contributing to outstanding patient outcomes. In this role you will:
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including general and emergency radiography, mobile imaging, theatre procedures, CT and other specialised imaging services in accordance with departmental policies and protocols.
- Deliver safe, high-quality patient care while maintaining radiation safety standards and adapting imaging techniques to meet individual patient needs.
- Accurately manage imaging records and administrative tasks using RIS and PACS systems to support efficient service delivery.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with patients, referrers and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver exceptional diagnostic services.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Science), Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences), or equivalent qualification recognised by CCLHD.
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration and a NSW Environment Protection Authority IA14 Radiation User Licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate, patient-focused care.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in a 24-hour shift and on-call roster.
- A commitment to maintaining high clinical standards, continuous learning and quality improvement.
