Position: – Desktop Troubleshooting Technician. - (IT Students Welcome to Apply)

Work Mode: Part Time and Work from Client Site.

Pay out: $35-$40 per hour on ABN + Travel Reimbursements + Commissions

Locations Available: All Australia - Involves travelling to customers within 40 Kms of radius from your location.

About the Company:

We are V4 Services Group based in Melbourne. This position is for our IT Support business division for our Customers in the other 4 cities. Please see www.v4it.com.au for more details.

In our IT division, we provide online and on-site support for home and business users, along with other offerings.

About the Role:

  • Providing IT Support (Onsite) to Home and Business Users for Issues like Emails, Internet Network Setups including NBN and Routers, Printers, Windows and Mac Troubleshooting, Data Recovery, Hardware Troubleshooting etc.
  • This role may require travelling around different suburbs. You should be prepared to travel at least 40 kms radius from your location.

Essential Requirements for this role:

  • Minimum 1 Year of demonstrated experience for Desktop Troubleshooting. Experience can be in Australia or Overseas
  • Should have technical knowledge of diagnosing technical problems and issues such as installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade and configuration and troubleshooting of desktops, software, hardware, printers, internet, email and operating systems.
  • Having customer facing experience is an added advantage.
  • Very Strong Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Should have their own vehicle along with a valid Australian Driving License in case travelling to customers.
  • Should be a quick thinker and Self Motivated with go getter attitude.
  • You have to be based in Australia and should have work rights. (Candidates applying from outside Australia shall not be considered)

Important things to know before you apply:

  • This is a part time role to begin with and can be converted to permanent full time role later after minimum 20 customer appointments.
  • Although we try to give maximum hours to all our technicians, however there is no minimum guarantee of work hours per week. On average, our part time techs get around 20-25 hours of work per week depending on their location, willingness to travel and technical skills.
  • You can choose to work on weekends too for additional income.
  • Students from Computer and IT Background can apply.
  • This profile includes travelling, you MUST have your own vehicle.

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
