Your New Role and Responsibilities

Join our team as a PMO Coordinator, playing a critical role in supporting the Program Management Office for a major Federal Government initiative. While you will report day-to-day to the PMO Manager, you will be accountable for delivering PMO functions and ensuring governance, financial control, and scheduling across the program.

In this role, you will:

• Lead PMO financial management, including forecasting, workforce planning, actuals/EAC reviews, and project change control, applying strong financial and Excel skills.

• Manage core PMO governance and administration, including reporting, document quality, systems management, onboarding/offboarding, audit compliance, and serving as the program’s primary support contact.

  Coordinate program-wide risk and issue management, driving regular reviews and supporting mitigation strategies.

• Maintain and update the Contract Master Schedule (CMS) in collaboration with project and transition managers.

• Oversee program communications and engagement, ensuring clear stakeholder messaging, recognition initiatives, and event coordination.

About You and What You'll Bring

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience in financial planning and control within projects/programs.

• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, including management of information systems and repositories; Power BI reporting skills will be highly regarded.

• Experience using Microsoft Project and resource-loaded schedules.

• Solid understanding of project and program management principles, supported by PMI CAPM, PMP or PMOCP certification.

• Ability to work independently, use initiative and proactively engage with stakeholders to meet business reporting rhythms.
