Puppy Painting Assistant

Paws n Paintz is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and people-focused Puppy Painting Assistant to help deliver unforgettable puppy painting experiences. This hands-on role involves supporting classes, interacting with customers, caring for puppies, and helping ensure each session runs smoothly, safely, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of Paws n Paintz painting sessions.
• Welcome and engage with customers, creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
• Supervise and handle puppies during classes, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and comfort.
• Support participants throughout the session and assist where needed.
• Set up and pack down class materials, equipment, and workspaces.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards during and after classes.
• Transport puppies, supplies, and materials when required.
• Assist with class operations and support other team members to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Communicate any issues, incidents, or customer feedback to management.

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable handling and caring for puppies
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle (required).

Desirable

• Working With Children Check and Police Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Experience working with NDIS participants
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, animal care, childcare, or similar roles

Availability

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Willingness to travel to various class locations, as required
