Full job description

Customer Service Agent – Cruise Terminal Sydney

Location: Sydney

Business Sector: Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services

Contract Terms: Casual/Seasonal (hourly rate)

Do you want to work with world famous cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Silversea Cruises, Azamara Club Cruises, Viking Ocean Cruises ?

Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services are looking for Customer Service Agents to assist with cruise ship turnaround days (the day on which one cruise finishes and the next one begins). We provide services such as check-in, directional, meet & greet, hospitality desk service and airport meet & greet.

Our Customer Service Agents are the face of the cruise line and form the seamless link between land and ship. You’ll be part of a fun, fast-paced and vibrant work environment where no two days are the same.

If you’re interested in a career in travel and tourism, you’ll be getting in on the ground floor of the TUI Group - the world’s largest travel business – for a truly global career. Some of our casual Customer Service Agents are now working for us in full time management roles or have used their experience as a springboard into other areas of the travel and tourism industry.

Sound like something you’d be interested in?

While any customer service experience you have is a bonus, it’s more important to us that you just have a passion for delivering great service to our guests. Along with your excellent communication skills, you’ll need to have a genuinely helpful, flexible, and professional personality. You also need to be comfortable with basic technology as you’ll be checking-in guests with iPads, scanning their travel documents and verifying their vaccination status - all with a smile on your face while letting them know they’re about to embark on the holiday of a lifetime!

At Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services we know people are as diverse as the destinations we send our guests to. Just as travel is about exploration, we are on a continuous journey to make our work culture more inclusive. There’s more than one way to be the perfect fit, we here at Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services welcome people of all backgrounds and are proud of our diverse staffing pool.
