Working at HOYTS means being part of the team that keeps the magic of the movies alive. Our Cinema Crew Members play a hands-on role in creating smooth, enjoyable experiences for every guest - from the moment they arrive to the moment the credits roll.

As a Crew Member, you’ll help bring the HOYTS experience to life by:
  • Welcoming guests with a friendly, genuine attitude
  • Keeping our cinemas clean, comfortable, and looking their best
  • Supporting operations across ticketing, food & beverage, floor service - including serving HOYTS’ iconic popcorn and choc tops
  • Assisting with stock rotation, session checks, and cleaning duties
  • Helping bring promotions and special experiences to life

  • Crew Members are employed on a permanent part-time basis, giving you the opportunity to really own your role and build long-lasting connections. As a part-time team member, you’ll have guaranteed minimum hours and access to paid leave entitlements. A standard shift is generally a minimum of 4 hours, and you’ll be rostered for at least 8 hours per week. Your agreed part-time hours will always be scheduled within your stated availability, and rosters are released each Friday in Australia, for the week commencing the following Thursday.

  • Your position is classified under the Broadcasting, Recorded Entertainment and Cinemas Award 2020 as a Cinema Worker Level 2. Your hourly pay rate is based on this classification and varies by age
