CLOWNFISH CLUB ATTENDANT

Clownfish Club is Hamilton Island's dedicated kids' club, providing a fun, safe and welcoming environment where children aged 6 months to 12 years can play, create, make new friends and enjoy age-appropriate activities while their families experience everything the island has to offer.

We're looking for a caring, energetic and enthusiastic Clownfish Club Attendant to join our team. Your Role

As a Clownfish Club Attendant, you'll help create a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children of all ages. You'll supervise activities, encourage creativity and play, support children's wellbeing and ensure every family receives warm, professional service throughout their Clownfish Club experience.

Where you'll make an impact

  • Supervise and engage children aged 6 months to 12 years in a safe and nurturing environment

  • Facilitate fun, creative and age-appropriate activities, games and crafts

  • Assist with the daily care and wellbeing of children attending the club

  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and fellow team members

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety throughout the facility

  • Support meal and snack times where required

  • Ensure all activities are delivered in accordance with company policies and safety procedures

  • Monitor children's wellbeing and communicate effectively with parents and guardians

  • Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and memorable experience for every child

What we're looking for

You genuinely enjoy working with children and understand the importance of creating a safe, engaging and welcoming environment. You're patient, energetic and reliable, with a positive attitude and the ability to connect with children of all ages while delivering exceptional customer service to families.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with children in childcare, education, recreation, camps or similar environments

  • A genuine passion for creating positive experiences for children

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A warm, friendly and patient nature

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

  • Certificate III in Childcare (preferred)

  • First Aid in Education and Care (HLTAID009 / HLTAID012), CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (Essential)

  • Minimum 2 years practical experience in the children’s services industry

  • Working with Children Check - Blue Card – QLD (Essential)

  • QLD Child Safety Training (GECCKO) (Essential)

  • Red Nose Safe Sleep Certificate (Essential)
