About the role: This role is responsible for supporting the Asset Data and Assurance team through the research, collection, analysis, and reporting of operational, system, and data requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring document integrity, compliance, and accessibility across the business.

  • Assist in maintaining the Aurizon Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) and SharePoint sites
  • Ensure the accurate registration, tracking, and control of controlled documents
  • Perform quality reviews of documentation, including formatting, grammar, accuracy, and correct template use
  • Ensure all documentation meets required standards, governance, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and respond to internal stakeholder enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow, maintain, and continuously improve document control procedures and processes
  • Support the exploration and practical use of AI and digital tools to enhance document management, improve data quality, and streamline workflows

About you:

  • Desirable but not mandatory, relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in document control
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated high level computer and software skills
  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and make recommendations
  • Sound communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to liaise with engineers and technical staff.
