Overview of the Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with warm inbound enquiries, not cold leads. A strong and consistent enquiry pipeline already exists, allowing you to focus on connecting with businesses that are actively seeking branding, design, and marketing support.
Your role will be to understand client needs, guide them through the buying process, and recommend the right combination of services to deliver value. Upselling is consultative and needs-based, not transactional.
You will work closely with the design team to ensure a smooth handover from sale to project delivery, and you will maintain ongoing relationships to identify future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound enquiries via phone, email, and online forms
- Qualify leads, conduct discovery conversations, and understand client goals, budgets, and timelines
- Guide prospective clients through the service offering in a consultative, value-driven manner
- Identify and recommend relevant additional services to increase client outcomes and lifetime value
- Prepare and present tailored proposals covering branding, web design, packaging, print, and marketing collateral
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and sales stages using CRM and internal systems
- Use tools such as CRM software, Xero, and Outlook templates to manage the sales process
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure seamless project handover
- Re-engage existing clients for additional services and repeat business

Skills & Experience
Essentials:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in sales, account management, or client consulting (creative or professional services highly regarded)
- Ability to conduct discovery conversations and identify upsell opportunities
- Confidence using CRM systems and digital tools (training provided)
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple enquiries
Desirable:
- Exposure to branding, design, marketing, or digital services
- Experience working with inbound lead environments
- Understanding of consultative or solution-based sales models
