At Active Life therapies we provide fun and engaging Therapy sessions for Babies, Children and Young Adults with disability. We are more than just an Allied health practice; we're a community dedicated to improving our client's confidence and engagement in their world, involving everyone around them in the journey

Due to our rapid growth and an increased demand for our services, we're seeking exceptional OT's, Physiotherapists and Speech Therapists to expand our team.

About you

  • You’ll go that extra mile to ensure your clients reach their goals. Reviewing progress regularly with clients to ensure they are experiencing results and understanding and celebrating reaching their goals along the way.

  • Preferably you’ll have experience in Sensory integration techniques, working with people with disabilities and the NDIS
  • You enjoy mentoring and growing other team members clinical skills.

This is a permanent full or part time position that reports directly to the CEO, while also working closely with other key members of the team

Our therapy services are fun and engaging and have a strong focus on Sensory integration. Our 3 large clinic spaces are specially designed with multiple suspension points, a flying fox and a large selection of swings, crash mats, climbing walls and trampolines and a huge cupboard full of resources to help our clients to increase independence, have better emotional regulation, and to be able to interact and join in activities with peers more easily.

New graduate therapist: Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist

Duties and responsibilities

  • You’ll participate in our new graduate program which includes twice weekly mentoring with our OT team leader to quickly build your skills and confidence.
  • You'll provide fun and engaging, evidence based, therapy services to our paediatric clients with communication, motor and sensory needs in our custom built clinic rooms.
  • You'll complete assessments and produce reports for annual reviews to help our clients get the support they need to achieve their goals and aspirations.
