Villa Maria Fortitude Valley is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our Residential Aged Care team. We have Permanent and Casual opportunities available, offering flexibility and rewarding work in a supportive environment and we are looking for more than 1 year of work experience as a PCA in aged care setting.
About the Role
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live with dignity, comfort and independence by delivering high-quality personal care in line with individual care plans.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene, showering, dressing and toileting
  • Supporting residents with mobility, meals and social engagement
  • Providing companionship and contributing to residents’ overall wellbeing
  • Preparing and tidying resident rooms and communal dining areas
  • Responding promptly to resident call bells
  • Observing and reporting changes in resident condition to the Registered Nurse
  • Supporting a safe, respectful and team-oriented care environment
About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
  • Previous experience in residential aged care (desirable)
  • A warm, respectful and resident centred approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • A commitment to safety, quality care and organisational values
Highly advantageous:
  • Medication competency
