Full job description
Overview
As the Business Analyst, you will work with project, business and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, practical actions. The role supports improvements to processes, systems and customer outcomes by gathering information, documenting requirements, assessing impacts and identifying effective solutions.
You may also be required to assist with other project or BAU activities as needed to help deliver outcomes for ReturnToWorkSA and the broader Digital Transformation Project.
How you'll make an impact
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and document clear requirements.
- Map processes, identify issues or opportunities, and help develop practical solutions.
- Support workshops, discussions and walkthroughs with business, project and technical teams.
- Assist with impact assessments, testing, implementation planning and post-implementation support.
- Work with change, training and operational teams to support successful adoption of new processes or systems.
- Provide flexible support across project and BAU activities as required.
About you
- Relevant experience in claims, operations, business improvement, projects, systems support or a similar environment. Formal Business Analyst experience is helpful but not essential.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to identify issues, ask practical questions and help translate business needs into clear requirements or actions.
- Ability to work with stakeholders, gather information, document processes or impacts, and contribute to practical solutions that support successful change.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working collaboratively across operational, project and technical teams.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and work flexibly in a fast-paced project environment while supporting agreed delivery outcomes.
- Exposure to projects, change activities, process improvement, systems implementation or Salesforce would be advantageous.
