Cat Napping Tullamarine are looking for a casual afternoon cattery/office attendant to work alongside the current team to support the day to day running of the busy cattery.

This role isn't just for some that "loves cats"

Key responsibilities:

  • Install a customer-focused culture and demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of customer service with all team members and clients
  • Execute high attention to detail, efficiency and multitasking

Who you are:

  • A keen desire to always deliver excellent standards of customer service
  • Excellent general computer literacy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Physically fit and able to work in colder / warmer environments
  • Work with limited supervision
  • Knowledge of cat health, breed, and behavioural requirements
  • A licensed driver with access to a car
  • Willing to be a team player and work at Spotswood and Hoppers Crossing if asked

Day to Day Tasks:

  • Feed cats as per their requirements
  • Administer medication when required
  • Clean cat cages and general cattery surroundings
  • Cat enrichment
  • Light Administration work

This role will see the person once fully trained work mainly afternoon (3pm - 6pm ) shifts solo over a 7 day rotating roster, with some morning shifts when needed. Average hours per week is 6 - 12 hours, but with the opportunity to grow this to 15 -20 hours in the future. Monday afternoon avaiabilty is a MUST.

We are open 365 days a week and the successful applicant will be required to work weekends, public holidays etc

Previous experience in a cattery/ kennel or Vet Clinic would be a bonus.
