Join Deloitte’s Adelaide Infrastructure & Industrials team as a senior commercial adviser working across government, defence and mining sectors.
We are looking for an experienced adviser with strong commercial and financial skills to lead complex infrastructure and asset engagements. You will help clients make sound decisions and translate them into practical action.
What will your typical day look like?
You will lead engagements that help clients make major investment, commercial and asset decisions. Depending on the project, this may involve developing a business case, undertaking financial or commercial analysis, shaping a procurement, funding or asset strategy, conducting an independent review, or supporting market engagement.
You will work directly with senior clients, bring clear judgement to difficult issues and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. You will also lead proposals, build trusted relationships and help grow the Adelaide practice.
About the team
Deloitte’s Infrastructure & Industrials team advises clients on major investment, commercial and asset decisions across the asset lifecycle. We work on capital projects, infrastructure and complex services for government, defence and mining clients.
The Adelaide team works on complex, high-profile priorities where rigorous analysis, sound judgement and practical outcomes matter.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You will have:
At least 10 years’ experience in commercial advisory, infrastructure, asset strategy, project finance or a related field.
A strong track record advising government or private-sector clients on major infrastructure, asset or service challenges.
Strong commercial and financial skills, including experience in business cases, commercial strategy, procurement, contract management, or financial analysis and modelling.
Experience in at least one of asset strategy, procurement and contracting, funding and financing, market engagement or commercial negotiations.
The ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex engagements and building trusted stakeholder relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
A relevant tertiary qualification, such as Commerce, Finance, Economics, Law or Engineering.
Security requirements
Australian citizenship and a minimum AGSVA Baseline security clearance are required, together with the ability to obtain NV1.
