About the role
LRH is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Emergency Registrar on a fixed term fulltime basis - 86 hours per fortnight.
The role of the Emergency Registrar is to provide day-to-day medical care for patients under the direction of senior medical staff and also work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe and high-quality patient care. The successful applicant will support LRH’s Values - Person-Centred, Respect, Integrity, Excellence and Working Together.
About the Department
The Emergency Department is focused on providing quality care to the patients and wider community. In Emergency you will be provided with many exciting opportunities and experience a broad range of clinical practices and caseloads. You will experience more one-on-one time with supervising Consultants and also see a rich range of presentations and be provided with many educational opportunities.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Registration or be eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Completed and passed AMC Part 1 as a minimum (Part 2 is desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member
